Dashing Santa

Hola a todos (hello everyone). Todays blog is going to be about a... Bath bomb eeeeek. Lets get started.
So as i mentioned in my last blog about baths 'Bubbles Galore' (check it out if you already haven't) i got a lot of bath stuff for christmas and along with bubble baths soaps etc, i got some got some gorgeous stuff from the one and only Lush, and hands down they make the BEST bath bombs going however, it doesnt stop there they have a variety of products and these range from bath products to lotion, face cleansers to makeup, hair treatments to colours and many more, you can find all these here. If you haven't had Lush products yet or are even thinking about going then DO IT!!!! You will not regret it they are amazing, l o v e.

Anyway (always rambling) im going to be telling you about a Lush Bath Bomb and its a lil late i guess since its a Santa one but oh well, who doesn't love Santa *raises eyebrows and smirks* so this bomb is called 'Dashing Santa' and well me encanta (i love it (sorry loving the spanish).

He's a sensational bath bomb that i fell in love with at first sight. I mean come on just look, he's easy on the eye right? I for one love the look of him. Oh im gonna call it a him by the way. Just look how cute he is, a pinky red tone and glittery *everything comes to a stop* did i just say glittery? Yes, yes i did however, the photos I have do not do justice to his glittery ways. I honestly think thats one of the main things to win me over, i adore a glittery bomb, I'm talking like a moth to a flame kinda thing here. Not only does he look incredible he smells divine, like all the prettiest flowers you've ever smelt, all the tastiest sweets you've ever tried and all the fruitiest fruit you've ever came across. Damn. I'd give you the link for the lil guy but he's no longer on the website, boo i know but thats probably because I'm yeaaaars late with this blog. Kinda dramatic but thats me.

So like any other bath bomb you just pop him in the bath and he fizzes up, swirling and bubbling taking over your plain boring bath water and turning it in a beautiful relaxing bath (not that plain baths aren't relaxing but they dont quite compare to a lush one) not only does this lil guy look and smell fabulous he leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and silky, literally i felt like a different person after good old Mr 'Dashing Santa' just as all Lush products leave my skin feeling amaze everytime.

What's your favourite lush/bath products?

Summer Body Craze

So since everyone is on the 'summer body' craze, I thought id share you my diet. I've recently bought the Slender Blend Protein shake from Protein World's weight loss collection for just £62, in this you get;
- 1 Large tub of the slender blend protein powder and the yellow scoop
- 1 tub of 'fat melters'
- 1 tub of multivitamins
- 1 shaker
- 2 books about the Slender Blend diet requirements and about the other collections Protein World have

For just £62 I think that's amazing!!! These shakes come in four different flavours, Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla and Natural, I have the vanilla one and it is delicious, ahhh. If you're planning to go on a protein diet I would 100% recommend this one it's so creamy and tastes like a treat more than something you'd replace a meal with. Its super easy to follow, all I do is replace my breakfast with a shake and my lunch with one too, I've read loads of different recipes to make things with your slender blend buddy on protein world you can find these here. They're great from crumbles to pies and brownies to smoothies, wow I know.

This diet does however recommend protein filled meals e.g. lots of fish, red meats and raw nuts. Sadly I really dislike seafood (apart from lobster, ah I love it) any other seafood I really dislike, I wish I liked it because it looks gorgeous you know things like sushi, Ugh I'm rambling. So! I eat a lot of meat, I personally prefer red meat BUT my mum and brother prefer chicken so there's always a lot of that cooking in my house. Along side my meat I eat a lot of veg, I absolutely love vegetables and the plus side is there is like no calories in veg! I once heard that in a cup of blended veg there is only 18 calories weather that's true or not I still don't know but not too shabby, ey? Besides your meal/meals (depending how many shakes you have a day) its very important to snack, of you're anything like me then the best thing to own is a blender because I L O V E smoothies, plus they're healthy full of juices and fruit and sometime natural yoghurts (avoiding creamy ones with ice cream), not only do I snack on loads of different fruits I also snack on nuts, not salted or roasted btw, healthy ones! 'Raw nuts' as they get called, and trust me once you try them there is no turning back (well not for me) I adore them, why have I not tried them sooner I continuously ask myself.

Along side the the food suplimemt and healthy food/snacks you're also recommend to exercise, which you can choose any type of exercise you prefer. I use '7 days slim' by Vicky Pattison (another gordie shore girl, total coincidence I swear) and it is fabulous!!!! It has various home exercises that change as the weeks go on, even though it is tiring it's super fun to do and I know there's lots of people that think these DVDs don't work but it's worth a try, right?

Well that's it (I think) wish me luck with getting my summer body if I don't give up by next month *sighs*

Tell me about your summer body diets and exercises?

Bubbles Galore

Girl or boy we all love a bubble bath, right? Well for Christmas I got the most wonderful bath stuff and I'm gona tell y'all a little bit about one.

So this is one of my presents called 'So.. Much Bubble' by the Along Came Betty range and it is fabulous, you can pick these up from any local supermarket I got mine from Tesco. This bubble bath is a lovely light pink colour and smells absolutely delicious, on the label it says 'lemon balm' however it doesn't have a very strong smell of lemon just a little hint, the wonderful smell of strawberries over powers the lemon and send you into a fruity daze *sighs* it's just dreamy.

So like any bubble bath you pour it under the hot tap as the bath is running (or I do anyway) and instantly it creates the fluffy looking bubbles everyone loves! I 100% recommend this product, it's very smooth and leaves my skin feeling - what's the saying? Like a babies bum! *giggles*  I think it makes the right amount of bubbles for the perfect relaxing bath. I once bought a bubble bath and poured it in as normal and after 5 minutes of being in the bath the bubbles had almost completely disappeared, it's fair to say I wasn't a happy bunny and I didn't have the bath I was hoping for! I also dislike the kind of bubble baths that make overwhelming amount of bubbles so the bubble to water ratio is almost incompatible (if that makes sense) bubbles over board.

So after perfecting the amount of bubbles I like, I go ahead and pop in my favourite bath time essentials for example bath sponges, rubber ducks (childish but super cute), grab my favourite magazines and even a cup of hot choc with whip cream and marshmallows, wow... There it is the perfect hot bubbly bath! Jump in and relax, ah love.

What's your favourite bubble bath?

FIRST EVER BLOG

So this is my first ever blog and I'm super excited about it, eek. I've been wanting to do a blog for so long and I finally am *high fives self* I've decided to make my first blog about my makeup today, here we go... (That's sounds more silly than intended).

Today's look was simple to achieve and in my opinion very effective.

Firstly I applied my primer I normally use Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Pro 002 which is £11.99 of Amazon this a matte primer however, today I used Nivea Creme which is something silly like £3.99 from any local supermarket e.g Tesco, Asda, Morrisons. I know this a primer but it's super creamy and puts a perfect layer over my face before applying my foundation, I normally use Nivea if my skin is feeling kind of dry or could use a bit of a pick up its just heavenly and I feel it gives my foundation a much better finish. I just applied this with my fingers - quick and easy!

Next I put on my foundation Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, oh which reminds me another reason I like to use Nivea is with this foundation being matte it gives it a slightly less matte finish which I prefer. Anyway, I applied my foundation with a angled Joursna blending foundation brush, I normally use a Mac Flat foundation brush or even a flat foundation brush I bought from superdrug for £4.95 which is super cheap but since I started using the Joursna brush I fell in love, it's so easy to use and so much quicker to blend than the flat brushes.

So after my foundation I did my brows! For my eyebrows I used Elf Brow Bar in medium which was only £3.95 amazing I know. In this you get two sections one side filled with wax to colour the brow in and the other filled with a lighter powder for finish it off, you also get a double ended brush one side is an angled brow brush and the other is like a mini blusher or eyeshadow blending brush. I filled in my brows with the wax only going over my natural brow shape then I put a little bit of the powder over just to set the brow. Just to finish them I got my double ended foundation brush from primark for £2.50 not even ashamed. I put a little bit of foundation on and went round the brows to give them a fresh sharp look.

Now for the eyes *gulps* so for my eyes I started with Surf, Baby! Shadow by Mac in 02 which was a present so I don't have a price and its limited addition apparently! I applied the golden shade to my crease with a Mac medium blending brush, and I just layered this up until I was happy with the intensity of the shadow, next I got a slightly smaller brush and applied the shimmery white to my inner corner blending the two together. These colours are beautiful, they're all shimmery and very pigmented, ah I love.
Eyeliner! So I have a gel eyeliner in black from Elf for £3.95, who doesn't love a bargain? With this you get a small angled eyeliner brush however, I used a Mac angled eyeliner brush (doesn't really matter what brush you use) with this I started from my waterline up over till I reached my perfect point, I then went from about the Middle of my uper lash line to join up to the point and filled in! I also put a little bit on my lower lash line just to blend it in. After I finished that I got my Lorèal Color Riche LeKhôl in White, another present ah. I applied this to my inner corners and a slight bit on my waterlines just to open up my eye, I think this makes you're eyes look so much bigger than what they are.
For my lashes I used Benefit They're Real mascara from Boots for £15.99 I also like Lorèal Volume Million Lashes in - So Couture So Black! These mascaras are just wonderful, they don't feel heavy on my lashes (sounds crazy) but they give them a full/extended look! It's fabulous. I applied these two to my upper and lower lashes layering them up until achieved the look I'm going for.

Blush, Oo la la! Instead of contouring I just use blusher even-though I LOVE the look of contouring I haven't yet tried it, don't worry it's on my todo list! Most girls swear by it so I mean it must be amazing right? Well, my blush is from... Wait for it... Shock Elf and it was only £3.95 it's a baked blush shade Los Santos, I hated this blush at first but after a few times of trying it - BOOM - I fell in love, I applied this to just below my cheekbones and recently a slight bit along my hair line and jaw line (kind of like contouring but not quite) again with this I just kept applying until I got the right intensity.

Last but certainly not least the lips, ahh. I have quite plump lips but I still like to slightly over line them so I started with my matte primer and just popped it on like lip balm, I then got my Stargazer Permanent Lip Liner Pen in red shade 05 and went round my lip line slightly over lining the Cupids Bow and the middle of my lower lip, I went on to colour the corners of both my upper and lower to make the centre of my lips stand out, works wonders I swear. Next I picked up my l Color Riche Julianne's Pure Red matte lipstick and a Mac lip brush going over what I've already done, I then applied lipstick as normal. Finishing the lips I added a little of my white liner to just above my Cupids Bow and a little blush to just below my bottom lip and voila! Lips complete.

Finally I just sprayed over my whole face with Model In A Bottle makeup setting spray to finish my look - no more touch ups!
